Dojo of the Rising Sun Tee
My most intricate design to date, I started this sketch on an airplane a couple months ago and I've been picking at it since. Finally felt like it was finished and here we are. Inspiration oozes out of this piece, from Kill Bill to Beverly Hills Ninja, as well as a couple of Easter egg appearances. Even with the ninjas turning out better than I thought, my favorite parts of this design are the katana and the tree. I was very happy with how the small detail turned out on the katana and the shading on the tree, as soon as I doodled it I knew it was my favorite part of this one. Everything I do in this space is an experiment at this point. Like I said, this is the most intricate design I've done and I needed some help to get it printable. Even though it supplied heartache and anxiety for a couple of weeks, I am keeping the price the same and I'm not printing more of these. Meaning that these are special to me, and hopefully you, my consumer audience. If these sell out I did keep the black ink screen and I'll make black and white shirts but these in full color won't be made again. As always, thank you for being here. It means the world to a small creator like me.
